 MPPSC Prelims Exam Update 2023



The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has announced an extension of the registration deadline for the MPPSC PCS Exam 20231. The initial deadline for applications was set for October 21st1. However, according to the official new notice, the application submission date has now been extended to November 8, 202312.

The MPPSC Preliminary Examination will be held on 17th December 20232. The candidates will be able to download the admit card for the Prelims exam from 8th December 2023 onwards2.

The MPPSC conducts exams for positions in administrative, police, forest, and engineering services, among others1. It plays a crucial role in ensuring a fair and merit-based recruitment process for government jobs in the state1.

  • State Administrative Service Deputy District President: 27 vacancies
  • Deputy Superintendent of Police: 22 vacancies
  • Additional Assistant Development Commissioner: 17 vacancies
  • Development Block Officer: 16 vacancies
  • Deputy Tehsildar: 3 vacancies
  • Excise Sub Inspector: 3 vacancies
  • Deputy Registrar: 2 vacancies
  • Chief Municipal Officer: 17 vacancies
  • Cooperative Inspector: 122 vacancies

The MPPSC State Service Exam focuses on hiring eligible aspirants for various posts and services like State Civil Services, State Police Services, Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), State Accounts Service, Commercial Tax Officer, etc2. The selection process for the MPPSC State Service exam depends on three rounds - Prelims, Mains, and Interview rounds2.
